Hair grows from your roots, so when you are cutting it, it denost have ANY effect on the growth of your hair. HOWEVER, if you have a lot of split ends, every little amout of hair that is growing, isnt really showing, on the overall length of your hair, because split ends fall off, and they go upwards to your root, split ends are never stopped until you cut them. dont try to use all these specials product, cause it isn't going to work! and PS. deep conditioners dont mend split end,? only condition
