Problems/risks I see:Renting the car may be contrary to your loan aeeegmrnt with the CU may invalidate your loan. The CU may demand payment of the loan in full. You purchased the car for private use but are converting it to a commercial application. Your insurance may not cover the car in an accident because again, you're leasing/renting it out as a commercial vehicle. Since your insurance company doesn't know anything about the driver, their risk is much higher. And how can you ensure that the driver will maintain insurance on the car? Anyone can get a policy with the proof of insurance form. Then cancel it 3 months later. His insurance company doesn't have to talk to you for privacy reasons.It's too risky.
