I don't see how Telecom should be taking any blame at all given that they have never sold the device, don't support the device, and no other devices on their network exhibit the same problem.FWIW I cannot see how this could be the fault of Telecom. The bit that isn't working is the part where the phone matches numbers to names. The carrier has no involvement in this process, not from a network level and not from a SIM card level. It is all in the phone software. The *only* way this could possibly be happening is if Apple has started relying on some weird field in the SIM card for some crucial piece of information, but I highly doubt this is the case this time around.As mentioned above, Apple are aware of the issue and they are working on a fix. That is all. Any anger towards Telecom is severely misdirected as there is so far absolutely no evidence that this has anything to do with their actions or inactions. In all likelihood Apple will fix the problem in a subsequent update without Telecom lifting a finger.(rdw11 has made 15 comments)

you know Noah used to do things like that too. In fact he still makes all sorts of nosies......and bursts of nosies...I just tell him and remind him (and it works pretty well) that when he is out in public....he cannot make all those sounds.....he can only do it at home and usually in his own room with the door shut. I don't want to stop him from doing this as he physiologically seems to need to do it......and it calms him.......but....I want him to learn there is a time and place for it....which in turn will help him control it a bit. He has done very well since making it an "at home only and in your room preferably" deal. hahah

It looks like nobody has reonpsded to Deepak so here's the answer to his Fatal error problem when activating the page-links-to plugin:The page links to plug-in version 1.5 is integrated into the sliding doors theme, that's why when you try to install and activate the plug-in as per the instructions above, WordPress will show that fatal error, since the plug-in is already installed, or integrated, into the sliding door's theme code. You do not have to download and install the page-links-to plug-in.There is,however, a newer version of the plug in, version 2.3. If you would like to update it you will have to remove the code from the sliding door theme before doing this. Here's what I did to update:Install and activate Sliding door if you have't already done so. Go to Appearance/Editor on wordpress admin. Make sure sliding door theme is selected on select theme to edit and then go to Theme Functions in the templates showing on the right side of the screen. (functions.php)Scroll down the code until you see:/*The followign is the page links to plugin incorportated into this theme.Delete Everthing from the /* all the way down except the ending ?> (Note: make sure you don't delete this last ?> or you will have errors. )When you are done you should have something like this in the last lines of code:}?>(Make sure there are no spaces between } and ?> as shown, and no blank space or line breaks after ?> )Now click on Update FIle at the bottom and that's it. Now you can activate your version 2.3 page-links-to plug-in with no problems.
