A few comments:1. How many aectdcnis have ever been attributed to these evil ice patches?2. If you're on a side street the speed limit is probably 25 mph. If you can'tstop in time after you see the speed bump, especially after a snowstorm, maybe you should slow down. And the slower you go, the less likely you'll lose control. People will always do stupid things, it's up to you to anticipate and avoid their stupidity.3. I think most towns have ordinances regarding things like clearing sidewalks, not throwing snow in the street, etc. Towns love to enact such important rules. Perhaps contacting each town in Morris County and finding out how often (if ever) they enforce these ordinances would be an interesting article.
