This post could be a near word-for-word summary of the last 12 years for me. I think that is why many popele say there is an ideal age for building a business. I agree with this 100%. There are certain things I could pull off at 24 that I would not be able to or not want to a decade later. Add a spouse, Kid(s) and the many things required to do well you just cant find the time to do.If you are in the right zone now, with traction make it count. The best time to do ___ is right now. Not saying you can't build a business with a family, or other commitments. But I don't think you can build the same type or build it the same way. I'm certainly glad and thankful I started in my parents basement, while going to school and while working part/full time. All of these things help subsidized my company in the first 2 years.Anyhow, another great post Shane!
