Pbrain, clever moetphar but you miss the point.WHY WOULD THE GUY WHO'S AHEAD IN THE POLLS WANT AN EARLY DEBATE?and WHY WOULD THE GUY WHO'S TRAILING WANT TO POSTPONE?You claim debates are free publicity are you nuts? They're the riskiest step a candidate can take eg Lloyd Benson's you sir are no Jack Kennedy or Ronald Reagan's I won't hold my opponents's youth and inexperience against him. When Candidates are behind, they ask for a debate in hope they can benefit from an opponent's gaff. Candidates who lead in the poll fear such moments.

Try coming up with a real issue boerfe you pretend that one (1) blogger is 1.) a BIG DEAL; and 2.) and I quote RCP . . . posting links one story equals links.The way you breathless posted your comment, I had assumed that the front page was flooded with links to stories about Christie's malfeasance. I had to do a search of the site to even find this one puny blog entry. It definitely ranks up there with Bush & Katrina! Thanks for alerting us to the news.
