slamfu I am glad this amazing young woman has survevid and even more glad that she seems to not only have stood up against an insurmountable cultural force in order to change things for the better, but she is now apparently a bit of a national icon. How many have simply been murdered by the Taliban for doing the same before anyone could rally around the idea she represents? I hope she survives, and so does her story. The sickness of the men who did this to her should be made evident to all who want a peaceful and stable society. Even in Pakistan there is such a thing as bad press. This is how things change over time, sadly.
