Hi guys, finally the blog is up and riunnng. My week is just not the same without seeing what you guys are up to. Loved the pics of Rusty and the cauliflower. Thursday in the truck on the way to our CSA drop off Ben had a small head of purple cabbage in his lab and was having a riot pulling the leaves off and handing them to Jake. Too funny. Hope Rusty continues to be a good eater, the boys suddenly decided last week they no longer liked potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes or anything else farm grown. It's all bread all the time or anything with eggs. I'm being creative by cooking veggies and mashing them and then putting them in a fritatta so they are still getting the veggies without knowing it. I hope you guys are getting along well with the farm and Rusty.

Hi Patty,I didn't want to know the details of the poitoisn because I didn't want to say yes or no based on the criteria I usually use to measure whether I should take on a commitment . do I have the time, what would I have to give up, is it a healthy choice based on what I already have on my plate, could I give it the time and effort what's needed to do it well???????? It isn't a major life change like a job change just an additional ministry opportunity so I did know it wouldn't take me to a new place or take over what my life looks like now in a big way. I wanted to seek God's leading and will without figuring it out on my own, if that makes sense. It may delay pursuit of speaking engagements and ramping up the writing that I felt God was calling me to, so I wanted Him to make the call .

tonight when we finished, Hey mom you know that could be me. You know rendaig is tough for me, and I have a hard time. I told him I know, but you can do anything you dream of My son's reply I know mama, and I know I'm not alone. . Your book choked me up as a mom because I see his struggle, but his response left me thinking he will rise above this and he will do great. He also left me blubbering! Thank you for this book and how the story is told he heard he could do this thing called life and come out on top.
