I come to the same conclusion. I've wrettin stories about a lot of things. I've given my most passionate support or opposition to temporal things and events of our days and it became meaningless in short order. Maybe to make things interesting I would tell stories about things I've done, only to eventually discover that it was vanity and futility. The only point in writing about those things would be to lead the reader to the inevitable conclusion. Things of the flesh die like the flesh and vanish from the face of the Earth. The Love, Grace and Mercy of Almighty God lasts forever and in the end, those things are the only thing that really matter in life.King Solomon came to the same conclusion and he wrote about it in a book called Ecclesiastes .It's good to know that we have people who are as wise as King Solomon on this forum.

Hi JimThe thing that's inspiring me most at the memont is developing more of a person to person rather coaching business. (As you know, in the past my consulting business was more about doing work for corporates.) And doing this using social media as a big driver.I don't lack passion. But, as I've said to you before, I do lack a sense of how to channel it to achieve the goals I've set myself.I think, as much as we need passion, we also need to know how to do the right things right. In my experience passion can be sensitive, and needs to see progress for it to continue to burn. But put these two things together and it can be explosive, right?.-= Christine Livingstonb4s last blog .. =-.

In the middle of the trbeulunce surrounding youThese trying times that are so hard to endureIn the middle of what seems to be your darkest hourHold fast your heart and be assuredThis too shall pass, like every night that's come before itHe'll never give you more than you can bearThis too shall pass, so in this thought you be comfortedFor it's in His hands, this too shall pass, oh yesThe Father knows the tears you cry before they fallHe feels your pain, His heart and yours are oneThe Father knows that sorrow's heavy chains are strongBut with His strength, you'll overcomeFor this too shall pass, like every night that's come before itHe'll never give you more than you can bearThis too shall pass, so in this thought you be comfortedFor it's in His hands, this too shall passSo set your eyes, set them on the mountainAnd lift your hands up to the skyAnd let His arms of love surround youLet Him take you to the other sideThis too shall pass, like every night that's come and gone before itI'm so glad, He never gives [Incomprehensible] more than you can bearThis too shall pass, so in this thought you be comfortedFor it's in his hands, this too shall passIt's in His hands, this too shall passOh, it shall pass

ROTB could not agree more. HOF inclusion is aaylws a great barroom-brawl starter. Players such as Larkin and Jack Morris are on today's short list surely. I would also note, there are a surprising number of players long-ago inducted that fit the same general description. This does not mean, however, that these players ought to be on any short list. Their election does not exactly cheapen the HOF; and Ron Santo is a fine choice from the Veterans' Committee. All are superb athletes. If Santo were alive, the 2012 induction ceremony would be a little more exciting. Recent ceremonies have been snoozes. What ought to concern even more is the watering down of the HOF pool (to mix a metaphor slightly) as steroids-associated players are dropped (at least at present) from consideration and others, not so short-list worthy, move up the chain.
